About Martha Alves
Licensed by the Regional Council of Psychology of SP for face-to-face and online coaching assistance (e-Psi).
In addition to years of professional experience, I was able to live and practice what the application process for admission to an American university is like, including its nuances and details. When my son applied to an American university, getting an athletic scholarship – while still living in Brazil – and also with my own application for a Master’s Degree in my professional area. I have also been through the extensive process for my daughter’s Master’s Degree in the field of Engineering.
I realized how complex, and often distressing the entire university application process is, therefore I decided to expand my practice to help those who seek this personal and professional path of fulfillment, in a more focused way: specific for the student and their parents while considering what is important and how it can affect each member of the family.

Testimonials
"I had a greater understanding of myself, my personality, qualities and flaws and I think that, in addition to helping me choose a course, it made me have greater self-knowledge and self-understanding."
"Martha helped me a lot in my career guidance process, with lots of tests and discussions around what I wanted for my career and my hard and soft skills. The experience as a whole was revealing, clearing many doubts I had. extremely grateful to Martha and all her work!"
“During my career guidance process I felt constantly challenged to question my options, seek out more information and explore my resources and abilities. In addition, I was always very comfortable to, each week, tell about what I did and thought about professions during that period. In general, the process broadened my vision and made me look for the “why” of things, thus guaranteeing me a clear choice and informed opinions.”
"Martha is a very competent professional in the area of career guidance, using various methods and analyzing the results of each one of them. She gave us confidence and provided us with valuable information for better career decision-making."
“Inspired by you and your classes, I will venture into the universe of professional guidance for the first time. I really appreciate every teaching shared and I really hope to develop as much as you do.”
“The whole process made me better reflect on my perception of who I am, both inside and outside my professional career. I think that knowing more about yourself in all areas is very essential, mainly because it is difficult to say in a job interview or in a letter of motivation, for example, what your strengths and weaknesses are.”
