Types of Programs
Complete: For high school students: junior year - 15 sessions
WHAT IT IS:
Planning program for US College admission.
FOR WHOM:
Junior year high school students.
FORMAT:
15 sessions, starting in October.
NOTE: US College admission process begins in Nov (ED/EA) and run through Feb (RD).
METHODOLOGY:
Online and using an American educational platform
- Session 1 (Oct): Parents and student: process overview, scholarship/budget, academic assessment and questionnaires, IB/AP, platform
- Session 2 (Nov): Discussion of reviews, Common App and Coalition App, platform, and important factors in choosing a university
- Session 3 (Dec): expectations and goals, essay topics, extracurricular activities
- Session 4 (Feb): continued brainstorming essay ideas, university research (long list), essay goals
- Session 5 (Mar): standardized test scores, continued university research (long list)
- Session 6 (Apr): Extracurricular activities, university list follow-up, essay follow-up, letters of recommendation
- Session 7 (May): review university websites (from long list to short list), common app
- Session 8 (Jun): Mock interview, letters of recommendation, writing workshop 1, completing common app.
- Session 9 (Jul): University Visits, Writing Workshop 2, Writing Workshop 3, Part 1, Test Notes
- Session 10 (Aug): application planning, top choice writing, writing workshop 3, 2nd and 3rd parts
- Session 11 (Sep): Short list universities: confirmation of applications and deadlines, Early Decision and Early Action options
- Session 12 (Oct): Application finalization and ED/EA submission
- Session 13 (Nov): Regular decision application and deadlines, essay writing
- Session 14 (Jan): Submission of regular decision application
- Session 15 (Mar or Apr): How the visa process works, American culture and education system, campus life.
15 sessions
Compact: For high school students: senior year - 12 sessions
WHAT IT IS:
Planning program for the US College admission in a more compact format.
FOR WHOM:
Senior year high school students or beyond.
FORMAT:
12 sessions, distributed according to the time the student enrolls in the program
Ex: Beginning in February – 1 to 2 sessions/month. Beginning in August – 4 sessions/month.
NOTE: US College admission process begins in Nov (ED/EA) and run through Feb (RD).
METHODOLOGY:
Online and using an American educational platform
- Session 1: Assessments, how the American selection process works, documents and requirements, preparation and planning, use of the platform, scholarships
- Session 2: creation of the “long list” of universities, planning of standardized tests, evaluation of the school curriculum, extracurricular activities
- Session 3: Key personal factors, long list research, letters of recommendation (whom and how to ask)
- Session 4: from the “long list” to the “short list”, university visit planning (face-to-face/virtual)
- Session 5: “mock interview”, essay writing workshop 1 (essay)
- Session 6: Interviews, follow-up letters of recommendation, workshop 2, workshop 3 – part 1, standardized test scores
- Session 7: student registration on the registration portals, finalization of the essay, workshop 3 parts 2 and 3
- Session 8: acknowledgment of the “short list”, confirmation of requirements and deadlines, Early Decision and Early Application, filling out the application
- Session 9: Completing CommonApp, submitting notes, submitting Early Application, checking portals
- Session 10: Early Decision management, “to do’s” review
- Session 11: regular application, waiting list, finalization of acknowledgments, pros and cons, acceptance letter, final decision.
- Session 12: how the visa process works, what to bring to university, cultural and academic challenges, and campus life.
12 sessions + 1 feedback
College Counseling Abroad: from 15 years old
WHAT IT IS:
Process that helps a student to choose a career, course and university options.
FOR WHOM:
High school students.
FORMAT:
Seven sessions and feedback, with parents and student.
METHODOLOGY:
Online meetings, 50 minutes each, once a week.
- Personality traits and vocational preferences
- Interests, values and skills
- Areas and careers
- Types of universities and degrees
- Ranking of universities by area
NOTE: For students who will study abroad, overview of the American selection process.
7 sessions + 1 feedback
Master/MBA/Specialization: for those who want to do a specialization or master's degree
WHAT IT IS:
Preparation and planning program for admission processes to postgraduate courses (MBA or Master) at American universities.
FOR WHOM:
Graduates, or in the last year of graduation in higher education.
FORMAT:
The number of sessions will depend on the type of training and what you want to study in graduate school
METHODOLOGY:
Online.
- Overview of the process, costs and scholarships, academic evaluation
- Expectations and objectives, choice of university and program
- Equivalence, translation, documents and necessary requirements
- How to prepare and plan for the admissions process

Differentials:
Each process is unique, like each individual. Thus, our programs are designed according to the needs and interests of each student, being closely monitored, generating stability and confidence, which are important skills for the development of a good job.
The US college application process has specific requirements and documents, which requires long-term preparation, which are divided into stages – preparation of documentation, research and definition of universities, application process for the chosen universities – so that the student’s application can be successful.
All meetings are online, avoiding wear and tear with transportation and traffic, focusing on what really matters – your preparation and planning process.
All meetings are held through an encrypted platform and management of the entire process – from grades and documents to choosing and applying to each university, with statistical data on the chances of admission to each of them.

In addition to years of professional experience, I was able to live and practice what the application process for admission to an American university is like, including its nuances and details. When my son applied to an American university, getting an athletic scholarship – while still living in Brazil – and also with my own application for a Master’s Degree in my professional area. I have also been through the extensive process for my daughter’s Master’s Degree in the field of Engineering.
I realized how complex, and often distressing the entire university application process is, therefore I decided to expand my practice to help those who seek this personal and professional path of fulfillment, in a more focused way: specific for the student and their parents while considering what is important and how it can affect each member of the family.
